The Cyclops is available in two standard voltages. The Cyclops 232d is rated at 232 watts and operates at 220-240 Volts ac and the Cyclops 150d is rated at 150 watts and operates from 100 to 150 Volts ac.

CYCLOPS 232 DUSK TO DAWN SWITCH PHOTOCELL CellOptik 300R Solar-Built This standard dusk to dawn switch uses a high quality relay to switch loads using "Silver-Tin Oxide" contacts to ensuring a long operational life. The sensor is rated at 300 watts and offers IP65 when installed correctly. The compact size is just 31mm wide x 58mm long x 48mm depth with 21mm being the clamping thread. Fits into 20mm hole and can clamp materials up to 12mm Thick. There are also two DC versions 12Volt and 24Volt both capable of switching loads up to 5 Amps. The benefits of the CYCLOPS Dusk till Dawn sensor - The 2008 Cyclops 232d has built in delays to remove false triggering that can be caused by accidental covering of the front lens
- The unique optical lens assists in filtering out unwanted orange street lighting.
- The switching element uses triac technology and is capable of handling high surge current caused by some high frequency ballasts. The sensor can switch resistive or inductive loads with Power Factor Correction > 0.96. Most HF ballasts meet this requirement.
- Light is measured using the latest LS100 device (RoHS compliant), This device has a similar frequency responce to visable light as the human eye. The analogue light level reading is converted in a digital scale by way of a PIC-Micro (intergrated circuit) to give highly accurate switching results.
- A high quality surge protection device is fitted to the underside of the circuit board, similar to those fitted to protect computers.
- Available with a Non-resetable internal thermal and overload protection fuse. (not on standard versions) must be fused with 3 amp fuse max.
- PIC-Micro controlled therefore can be programmed to switch on and off at different levels or times, with or without programmed delays

DUSK TO DAWN SWITCH Energy saving "CellOptik-Eco" dusk to time photocell sensor switch Coming Soon Energy saving dusk to dawn switch that will switch on at dusk and switch off at the programmed time for example 10pm. stay off for 6 hours before switching back on to turn off at dawn saving 6 hours of valuable energy when not needed. These sensors need no programing as they work out the approximate time using daylight hours. There is also an output for 1-10v dimming equipment to reduce the lamp brightness during the 6 hours instead of switching off. These sensors can be manufactured to switch off at any time and include automatic UK summer/winter time shift.

The Cyclops 232d The Cyclops232d Dusk to Dawn switch has been in production since 2001 and was up dated in 2006 to comply with the RoHS directive. The new design is controlled by way of a PIC-micro allowing us to program it to customer’s requirements. The 2008 version has a darker front lens and has internal programmed delays of approx 5 seconds before switching.
