We offer the lowest cost economy delivery/shipping prices, although some larger items/orders may be sent by courier.
How much will the delivery/shipping cost? (Minimum charge at £2.52)
  1. To find the lowest cost delivery/shipping for your destination, simply add the item to cart, (if you require more of the same item change the figure in the quantity box then press "Recalculate") (If you require different items press "continue shopping")
  2. Choose the delivery destination from either, 1-UK Economy, 2-Europe country list 3-Europe country list, 4-Rest of Europe, 5-Rest of the world.
  3. Then press "Recalculate". 
  4. Your economy delivery price will be shown. 
You can upgrade the delivery/shipping service to including tracking (see above).
When will my order be despatched?
  • 99% of standard product orders are despatched the same day if ordered before 11am
  • 99% of special built to orders products are sent 2 days after your order, if ordered before 11am.
Special order products normally take 2 working days to manufacture, program and test before shipping (subject to quantity).
 When will my delivery arrive? 
  • Economy UK mainland deliveries normally take between 2 and 5 working days.
  • Economy UK islands deliveries normally take between 5 and 10 working days. 
  • Courier UK deliveries normally take between 1 and 4 working days
  • Standard Airmail (Outside the UK) deliveries normally take between 10 days and 20 working days.

We only ship internet orders to your delivery/billing address given on your payment details, if you require your order to to be sent to another name or address you must contact us by email before placing your order or it will be sent to the delivery/billing address.
The upgraded delivery charges stated above are in addition to the standard delivery charge, however whether you choose to upgrade or not we do our utmost to send your orders out promptly.
Orders place before 11am (UK time) on week days are normally sent the same day unless they are to be sent by courier which means they are normally sent the next working day. Orders placed after 11am (UK time) on Friday or any time Saturday or Sunday are normally sent Monday.
All our packages are marked with "PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ON DOORSTEP" therefore the delivery company should leave a card if you are not in. If you send an instruction to us requesting to leave your parcel somewhere at your address when you are not in, this is at your own risk and Acetek can not be held responsible if your order then goes missing.  Please note, once your parcel has been handed to the delivery company it becomes their responsibility to ensure your package arrives with you safely, if they deem your request to leave a parcel where it could be at risk their decision must be respected. Most delivery companies do not accept requests to leave parcels in or near disposal bins for obvious reasons.
Delivery outside UK Mainland 
If your delivery address is not in UK Mainland it is a legal requirement for us to complete a customs declaration form for the goods you have ordered. Depending on the country and the value of the goods you have ordered your government may impose a charge against you for importing goods in to your country. Please be aware that you are wholly responsible for any charges that your government impose on you for importing goods.

Where we do not deliver!! 
We do not deliver to unoccupied buildings, building under refurbishment or building sites. Buildings not yet listed by courier companies or the Royal Mail.
Non-Delivery due to wrong address !!
If a incomplete or incorrect delivey address causes the package to be returned to us we will contact you to confirm the correct details. If Acetek has made a mstake we will either offer a refund or to resend the package. If the details supplied to us were wrong or incorrecty we will offer to refund the cost of the item or request a repeat delivery charge to resend.
If the Item was a built to order special we will only request a repeat delivery charge as we are unable to refund or reuse built to order specials.
Payment Methods
Paying by credit card  
If you would like to purchase from this site, simply add the desired item to your shopping cart and use any of the cards in the image opposite to pay with our shopping cart partner "Paypal".  If you use a credit or debit card or a Paypal account, your order will normally be shipped immediately and you will be sent the postal details by email.
Please note: some American Express cards can be rejected by Paypal however, others work fine.  Please also note that we do not take credit card details over the phone for your own security.
Paying by cheque
If you pay by personal cheque or eCheque, your order will be shipped 5 to 7 business days after we receive your payment.  You may also call 01276 38657 if you wish to order by phone (only when paying by cheque).

International payments by bank to bank transfer (Chaps) - please contact us before proceeding with this payment method
In most cases we would not advise international payments to be made by bank transfer, as you could incur high bank charges.  However, if you wish to make your international payment by international bank transfer you will be responsible for any charges incurred either by your bank or any intermediate banks (which are sometimes used to complete the bank transfer).
All Payments to Acetek must be made in Great British Pounds (GBP) unless we have otherwise agreed/stated. Please note that by paying by this method you have agreed to accept that if you require a refund for any reason you will be liable for any costs incurred by Acetek for refunding of any monies. 
You should check with your bank and any intermediary bank they may use to ask about the charges relating to International transfers.  These charges must be added to the total cost of the order. Failure to add these charges may lead to a shortfall in your order or a GBP35.00 bank administration fee to refund your payment.

Privacy Policy
Contact information including email addresses, telephone numbers and delivery addresses, etc. which are provided by you are solely used for the purpose of completing the order and reviewing your purchased product by Foxrate. 
In the unlikely event you would like to return a standard product purchased from this site, you must contact us within 7 days of the item being delivered to obtain a returns number. It is your responsibility to ensure the returned unused item(s) reaches our return address within 30 days in the condition they were received. (Photocell's are sent in sealed bags, returned photocells can only be accepted if the bag remains sealed). Please do not return used or modified goods as we can not refunded you for them. We recommend you obtain proof of posting in case the returned item doesn't arrive. We can not offer a refund for goods that do not arrive.
You are responsible for all costs incurred for the return of the goods. A refund will be given for the cost of the goods within 1 working day of the goods arriving back at the return address (if the payment was made by PayPal). If your payment was made by International bank transfer you will be responsible for any costs incurred in Acetek returning the payment as stated above (under International payments by bank to bank transfer section). The return of special products or built to custom requirements cannot be accepted.
